Is there a way I can create a Reltio User with a defined end date. ? I need the user to be active for a day and then expire.

@Gowthamprabhu Sivaraj, our PM, @Sergio Abraham should be answering this soon. Might take a day or two, but I will get it answered.

    Hello Gowthamprabhu,

One possible solution would to be to create a scheduled job at your integration layer that would check whether there has been 1 day since user's account creation and then decide whether or not to deactivate the user account using Reltio Update Users API.

    Hi Gowthamprabhu, how are you?
Sadly, this user management option is not currently supported. If you are using an external IDP to login into Reltio, this scenario should work if your IDP supports user expiration date. If you don't use an external IDP, I would encourage you to submit this as an idea in our Ideas Portal.

    Hi Sergio,

I'm good, Thank you. How are you ?

Regarding the IDP, what is the attribute which needs to come from IDP? Currently we are sending 4 attributes from IDP to Reltio,
    UserID, Email, Roles and Groups.

What would be that additional attribute and how can we map it ?

Also on another note, if a user is created in Reltio and not logged in at all ? Do we have any specific time period when the user state will turn to Inactive ?

The attributes you are sending from IDP to Reltio are correct. In my previous message, what I meant was that your IDP may support expiration date for users and that will work on the IDP side. But remember that the user will still look as "active" in Reltio unless there is an additional sync.

Regarding user deactivation due to inactivity, we do support that. Please look into the Reltio documentation for password policy for additional details (the parameter is inactivePeriodInDays.
