  • 1.  Can the back end database be made available to client ?

    Dear Community Members,

    I have few questions as below . Any answer is much appreciated.

    1. Can the back end database (Cassandra) be made available to users? 
    2. Is Reltio currently compatible to any NoSQL DB other than Cassandra or can it be made compatible to other NoSQL DB than Cassandra?
    3. Can the Reltio DB be hosted on client provided AWS ?

    Hi Santanu,

    Reltio is provided as a service.  As such, all interaction with Reltio is via the REST API.  The API's give our customers all the data access they need.  Is there a particular function that you are trying to accomplish?  

    And yes: the Retlio service is available on AWS.

    1. Can the back end database (Cassandra) be made available to users?  [TK] Only via the API. 
    2. Is Reltio currently compatible to any NoSQL DB other than Cassandra or can it be made compatible to other NoSQL DB than Cassandra? [TK} Reltio currently only supports cassandra internally,  but is in the process of moving to a different storage mechanism internally.  Another option for gaining direct access to the data is to use the Reltio analytics or snowflake connector options.
    3. Can the Reltio DB be hosted on client provided AWS ? [TK] I will leave it to someone from Reltio to answer this questions.
    In general, the internal workings of the platform should be of no concern to you; all data, configuration and task management operations can be accomplished via the relevant APIs which have been optimized for the most efficient access to the internal data and services.
