  • 1.  How the Customers are Managing User Sync ?

    Currently we have a Single Sign On to access Reltio and the Roles are managed via Corporate Identity Provider. So if a Role is added to the user in the Corporate IDP, whenever the user access Reltio, the user is created in Reltio and the Roles are assigned in Reltio as well. This works fine. 

    When a Role is Removed from the user in IDP, that gets synced only when the user logs into Reltio next time. 

    If a user leaves the Organisation, the user is removed from IDP and  remains in Reltio.

    Whenever a Data Steward leaves the org , the DCR's gets assigned to him in Reltio as Reltio has not synced with the Corporate IDP. 

    How are the other customers handling this scenario? Is there a way to Sync the LDAP/AD with Reltio ?

    Hi Gowthamprabhu,
    You are correct. The sync between Reltio and IDP happens at log in. So, the scenario you mention in the interaction between DCR tasks and deactivated users seems to be an issue. Let me investigate and I'll get back to you as soon as I have insights.

    Hi Gowthamprabhu, I just double-checked with the team. As of today, users are sync'ed only at user login. So even if you see the user as active, they won't be able to log in and it will be deactivated just after doing that. If you don't do that, then a DCR may get assigned to them.
    Customer usually solve this by reassigning those tasks. Please look at Reltio's documentation:

    Anyway, I will look into potentially including frequent syncs, if possible, to improve the user experience.
