When merging two records together, the Reltio entity ID is going to the surviving entity ID is primarily going to be controlled by the oldest entity ID created by Reltio. So, you really should consider the Reltio entity ID as a universal identifier that is managed and controlled by Reltio. We have our own processes and algorithms for blending those numbers together, those identifiers.
For customers that want to have their own control over how a universal identifier is brought together, you do have the ability to define. You can see here, we have got an auto generated ID, and it's just in this case, it's the word Reltio ID underscore and a sequence number. But by defining your own sequence identifiers here, it could be just like this, a pattern that is defined.
It can be a GUID. By using your own attribute and your own generated identifier, you can control through survivorship, how those numbers are blended. So, here, you can see it is defaulting to the oldest value. But you would have the ability to change that, and even for a data steward, to potentially override it using your standard system.
