Hi Joel,
Thanks for your response, we will look into your suggestion and investigate if this can help us.
That said, we were not thinking in regards to using deleteDate for crosswalk, since setting this deleteDate will make all attribute values from that crosswalk not contributing to OV, but in some cases they actually should.
We will try and if we dont get it to work as intended we will maybe pop in another question.
Regard & thanks

Subject: Survivorship in regards to startDate/endDate for Activeness
Hi Trond,
If I understand your question correctly, it sounds like you would like to manage the activeness of each of your crosswalks individually. If so, the correct field to be using is the deleteDate in the crosswalk. When the deleteDate is set to a value in the past your crosswalk is soft deleted and can no longer contribute to our OV. This can be undone by removing the deleteDate from the crosswalk or setting it to a value in the future.
Delete Date Docs
startDate and endDate apply to the entity, rather than the individual crosswalks. therefore there is no need for survivorship. When the deleteDate of all of your crosswalks are set to dates in the past, your entity endDate will automatically be updated to reflect the most recent of the deleteDates.

Subject: Survivorship in regards to startDate/endDate for Activeness
Hi Community.
We have encountered an issue with activeness for entities. Since activeness is an out of box feature in Reltio we were wondering if anyone else has encountered similar situation and if encountered, how did your team handle the issue.
To describe our issue, we have an entity "Material", where data regarding this entity are gathered from several source systems (4-6) where one material could be active in one source and inactive in another. And one of the business case for implementation is to be able to compare data from each source to be able to clean up data in source and set Operational Value.
We see that when importing data to populate profiles in Reltio, the profile gets startDate and endDate set according to LUD, but we would have liked the possibility to be able to set up survivorshiprule SRC_SYS for those two attributes sincet hey are the basis for how Reltio define the profile activeness.
All possible workarounds or tips are highly appreciated.
