    Hello Tyra,

The potential matches are dependent on the suspect match rules. It would be great if you can share the logic of the suspect match rule you have implemented for this example.

Looking at the example above it seems profile 2 would not be a suspect for a potential match if the SSN of the profiles is taken into consideration for matching. In other words, you may want to compare the SSN of profiles 1 and 2 to be exact for the entities to be a potential match.

The match rule can be validated for accuracy using the match rules editor tool:
    Working with the Rules Builder

You can use the Rules builder to identify the attributes and set the relevant conditions that you want to include as part of your match rule. You can search and select the attributes to include in the match rule. By default, the Rules builder shows the list of recommended attributes.

    Match rule analyzer tool:
    Analyze Match Rules

    Analyze Match Rules
You can analyze the match rules to get better potential matches for your entities. The Analyze Match Rules feature analyzes the configured match rules and can provide suggestions for improvement. You can use the Analyze Match Rules button to analyze the match rules for either a single entity or multiple entities at the same time.

    Hi @Tyra Patton,

Thanks for joining the session. Without knowing the specifics of the match rule you expected them to match on it is hard to diagnose what went wrong. However. There is a great API available for troubleshooting matches called Match Explanation . It will show you the tokens generated and the match status of each attribute, and the overall result. Below is a screenshot of the report. Could you try running it and sharing your result?
