  • 1.  Loading RDM via Python or other scripting tools

    I'm looking for a straight-forward method to take updates from the production team when there are updates to RDM, which are usually provided in Excel but could easily convert to CSV.

    My initial thought was to use RIH, however, nothing about that is simple when it comes to accessing an external file source. We have a fairly large RDM model, so I need something that is easy, yet versatile in handling the various entries.

    Has anyone developed a solution using VS Code or another IDE that can update RDM via the API?

    Hi Derek,

    I'm sorry you think that accessing file storage in RIH is difficult.  Because there are some really good utilities discussed in this previous community show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFovip56xxY

    is there a particular storage connector you are having a problem with?
