We have few queries on RDM :

1. Can one single RDM tenant be referred into multiple MDM tenant? We have 1 for LS commercial MDM and 1 tenant for clinical MDM. There are any common look up which we can leverage in both the tenants,
2. Can multiple application other than Reltio access one single RDM tenant, via API calls or in other words RDM be used as an enterprise RDM tool?
3. Can RDM support cleansing, standardization and deduplication?
4. RDM supports extra user defined attributes but will they be available in the application tenants as dropdowns or display attributes?

Hi @Abhijit Auddy -

1. Yes, one single RDM tenant can be referred by multiple MDM tenants. Your use-case will work.
2. Use of RDM outside of MDM (known as Enterprise RDM) requires a separate license. When a customer licenses Enterprise RDM, they have the ability to use RDM beyond their MDM tenants, and access the RDM APIs directly and integrate it with other systems that require the reference data.
3. RDM (Reference Data Management) supports standardization by mapping raw values from multiple sources to standardized or canonical values. This standardization is a crucial prerequisite for deduplication and cleansing. However, the actual processes of deduplication and cleansing are performed in Reltio MDM (Master Data Management).
