  • 1.  What is the default relevance score range for Fuzzy match, and Automatic rule

    Posted 10-23-2024 12:01

    Hello,

We have an Automatic match rule with exact match on Tax Id and fuzzy match on Name.  I'm considering changes this rule to a Relevance Based rule, so that I can add action labels for the potential matches.

Question in the Automatic match rule with a fuzzy match attribute, what is the default relevance score range used for the Fuzzy match.  I would like to create the Relevance rule to provide the same automatic matches as the existing Automatic match rule.  Thanks

You can set the relevance score range in the match rule configuration in the console.

    Does this help?

    Hi Steve,

Thanks, I know I can set the relevance range in a Relevence Based rule.  My primarily interested in what default relevance range is used in our existing  Automatic Match Rule with a Fuzzy match attribute.     So when I build the new Relevance based rule it can be set-up similarly.

    Hello William,

    Hope this helps!

The default relevance range for relevance-based matching in Reltio is 0.0 to 1.0. This means that attributes with a weight of 1.0 will have the highest impact on the matching score, while attributes with a weight of 0.0 will have no impact. You can adjust the relevance range to meet your specific needs. For example, you could increase the range to 0.0 to 2.0 to give more weight to attributes that are more important for matching.
