    Hi Vinoth,

I do not see any accelerators.  Maybe if you can specify the details, can guide you.

    Thanks,

    RK

    Hi RK,

Thanks for the response. I am looking for accelerators/utilities to configure data model directly in Reltio by reverse engineering IBM or Informatica or any legacy MDM data model, configuring match & DQ rules and data migration.

    Thanks,

    Vinoth

    Hi Vinoth

When it comes to migrating away from a legacy MDM solution such as Informatica or IBM (or others), it's not just as simple as just reverse engineering the data model, match rules, survivorship rules etc into Reltio.  As you know, Reltio is architected very differently to these legacy systems so it's not a 1:1 shift at all.  A legacy MDM data model with a hundred + tables could likely end up with just a few entity types in Reltio along with associated lookups.  Legacy MDM with dozens of match rules could be radically simplified in Reltio etc.  At the end of the day, a careful analysis is needed when it comes to mapping the legacy MDM structures and rules into Reltio.  At that point, creating routines to automate the process can be developed.  This may be something you folks consider developing as part of your offering because other systems integrators out there certainly have such offerings already.

Thanks for the details @Guy Vorster, we will try building some utilities and share the findings to the group.

    Appreciate your inputs.

    Hi Chris,

Not yet, still figuring out the options and use cases. Will update once we have something concrete.

    Thanks

    Hello Vinoth,

Which legacy MDM is this for, is this a generic question or is it for migrating a specific MDM to Reltio. At Fresh Gravity we do have a inhouse tool that does the migration from Legacy MDM application to Reltio.

If you need further details please feel free to reach out to me at bikash.singhal@freshgravity.com

    Thanks & regards,
