    If two records were merged manually by data stewards, will they get automatically un-merge when data gets updated in match fields of merged records

    By default manually merged records are not unmerged by the automated unmerge process. However, you can change the behavior of this using a configurable property - retainManualMerges

    Manually merged records can't be unmerged automatically but you can build a utility to unmerge profiles in bulk, you don't have to unmerge such profiles manually one by one.
