Hi Experts,

We have made an error validation function in data modeler at the time of create/update of an entity . Now when that criteria met at the time of user creating an entity from Reltio UI ,it is giving the default DVF action error .And that error is the generic one from which it is not possible to detect what is the reason user is not able to save the entity.

So could you please let me know how add/override the default DVF action message with a proper one so that user can understand which validation functions has triggered .

By the way I have given a message inside  the validation which is not showing ,rather the default DVF error message is showing.

While I am not sure, it appears that you have missed this part of the DVF implementation, where you put the error message in the UI.  https://docs.reltio.com/en/model/cleanse-data/validate-cleansed-data/data-validation-function/configuring-data-validation-function/enabling-single-attribute-view-facet-to-display-warning-messages

Could that be your problem?

@Utsa Das : great news!  This has been implemented in the product.  If you create a DVF with and error, the Error will now appear in the UI.

I just learned that this is being actively worked by the UI team.  I hope it will be in the 2023.1 release due soon.
