  • 1.  Initiate DCR workflow based on the user role/group

    Hi experts,

    Let's consider I have 3 unique DCR workflows(DCR1, DCR2 and DCR3) and 3 users(User1, User2 and User3) with a unique role(Role1, Role2 and Role3) respectively.

    In each of these DCR workflows, we have made sure to add the Candidate Starter Groups mentioning which workflow should be triggered when a specific user suggests a change.

    Example:

    In DCR1, Candidate Started Group is mentioned as Role1. I believe, with this inclusion, whenever any user with this role suggests a change, DCR1 should be triggered.

    The same way, DCR2 has Candidate Started Group as Role2 and DCR3 has Candidate Started Group as Role3, to make sure that only a specific DCR should be initiated when users with corresponding role suggests a change.

    But the issue is, this is not happening.

    Kindly advice.

    Found this out to be a blank DCR Candidate Starter Group issue.

    If in case any DCR has a blank Candidate Starter Group, there are chances that the Suggestion is going to trigger the DCR with the blank Candidate Starter Group.

    So, in simpler terms, if any DCR is granular in specifying in a Candidate Starter Group, it is recommended to add granularity to the other DCRs too!
