Subject: Migration from INFA MDM to Reltio and carrying Rowid_Object
Hi Anil Kumar,
We did the very same about 4 years ago. Your approach is sound. Our biggest gotcha was the attributes becoming outdated. Since your initial load data from INFA is a one time source, it will never change. For instance phone numbers and postal addresses changes, the source system you choose for these attributes needs be on the bottom of the survivorship rule. Also we have a status attribute with a survivorship rule that any crosswalk with an Active value wins. The initial INFA attribute value stays active and as such a party will never be inactive. To get around this we excluded the INFA source system completely from the survivorship rule. Take advantage of survivorship fallback rules. There maybe others, but those are the top two.
Feel free to reach out, and good luck!

Subject: Migration from INFA MDM to Reltio and carrying Rowid_Object
Hello All
We are migrating from INFA MDM to Reltio. INFA MDM creates a Rowid_Object (Varchar 14 numeric value). For our existing customers e.g. 1-100,000 we have the numbers as their IDs (Rowid_Object).
When we go live with Reltio, we plan to seed our Reltio instance with a custom attribute which stores Rowid_Object. This attribute will be populated with Rowid_Objects already created in INFA Hub.
Post Initial Data Load, I plan to create a Generator, with start value of 100,001 and step as 1. For survivorship, lower value of this ID to survive for OVs.
Has anyone done this before and if Yes, any gotchas that I may be missing?
Thank you
Anil
