Community Show: Complete consumer identity, continuously: Reltio Identity Builder in action

Our February 18, 2026 community show featured a walkthrough of Reltio Identity Builder, led by Jacques Lateo, Senior Product Manager. The session focused on a common challenge for consumer-focused organizations: identity data is constantly changing (new emails, phones, and addresses), while duplicates and sparse records across systems make it hard to build a reliable, connected profile.

Identity Builder brings identity resolution + continuous enrichment together in Reltio Data Cloud—so teams can unify fragmented profiles, improve completeness, and keep identities current over time.

Why consumer identity gets messy

Jacques framed the problem many teams see in their CRM and MDM environments:

  • Records are often sparsely populated, stale, or inconsistent.

  • Consumers may use aliases or limit what they share until trust is established.

  • Life events (like moving) create identity drift across addresses, phones, and emails.

  • In some cases, malicious actors use multiple personas, increasing fraud risk.

The result: multiple “singletons” that don’t match confidently using traditional deterministic or probabilistic approaches—because there aren’t enough shared attributes across the records.

What Reltio Identity Builder does

At its core, Reltio Identity Builder is an identity resolution and enrichment capability available in Reltio Data Cloud. It’s designed to:

  • Unify fragmented and stale customer records

  • Enrich profiles to improve completeness

  • Help teams achieve a more complete 360-degree view of the consumer

In the session example, three separate “Jon/John/Johnny Smith” records (with different names, addresses, emails, and phones) could not be confidently matched on their own. With Identity Builder, each source record independently matched to the same reference profile, enabling confident resolution and automated merge outcomes (based on thresholds).

Key value covered in the show

Jacques shared the outcomes Identity Builder is intended to drive:

  • Better profile completion and backfill for sparse records

  • Improved match rates and consolidation by resolving identities over time

  • Reduced manual stewardship and stitching costs through intelligent automation

  • Fraud risk mitigation using additional identity signals (covered in the enrichment bundles)

  • Downstream impact including stronger segmentation and improved customer journey performance

How it works (high level)

Identity Builder is provisioned and delivered through a native, event-driven approach:

  • Provisioning: Align on matching strategies and select which enrichment attributes you want delivered.

  • One-time initialization: Run an initial identity resolution + enrichment job against existing tenant data.

  • Ongoing operation: New or updated profiles are continuously matched and enriched in real time—with no ongoing manual effort required.

Matching strategies and enrichment bundles

The session reviewed a range of matching strategies (deterministic and probabilistic), tuned during provisioning to balance strictness vs. coverage.

Jacques also outlined two enrichment bundles:

  • Enrich: Core demographic and identity elements (for example, name components, gender, year/month of birth, estimated age, and first/last seen timestamps).

  • Enrich Plus: Includes everything in Enrich plus premium signals such as IP addresses, websites interacted with, a deceased indicator, and a household ID to reveal household-level linkages.

Early access and availability notes

Identity Builder is currently in early access, with general availability planned for the 2026.1 release (April). The early access program is available at no cost, with two seats remaining at the time of the show. In its current early access state, it supports:

  • AWS customers only

  • U.S.-based customers / doing business in the U.S.

Keep the momentum going

Thanks to everyone who joined live. If you’d like to explore early access, reach out to your Reltio account manager or Customer Success Manager to participate and help define success metrics and feedback.
