My company is required to run a periodic USPS CASS standardization for a specific universe of customer addresses. We require the generation of a USPS PS3553 report that is then shared with our USPS Mailing partner to show that our address data is cleansed so we can apply for mailing discounts.
The current process is that we generate a CSV file of the addresses to cleanse.
We create a Support "Task" ticket with the instructions and attach the input data.
Support performs the Loquate CASS process and returns the cleansed address information and the PS3553 report.
The challenge is that the turnaround time for the process ends up being longer than desired - normally 5 - 10 business days and human error while running the CASS process require re-run.
It would be a great improvement if Reltio could build an Rest API request for a CASS process, similar to an external match.
Upload the input file to s3.
Invoke the API - passing the input file and output file urls and any CASS specific parameters.
Capture the process-id and wait for the process to complete.
Once the process is completed, download the output results.
Voila!
