Reltio Connect

Hi team,

We have loaded a Relationship in the Reltio, we can see duplicate relationships are showing from UI, everything is the same, relationship URI, crosswalk IDs, and attributes but two relationships are showing from UI.

I also have run the Relationship duplicate task and relationsESCassandraConsistencyCheck task, but still issue not resolved. Just so you know, I also have checked the relationship extract, and I can't see any duplicity.

Just so you know, this issue is only for Self relationships, i.e. We have two independent profiles A & B, and we have created a relationship between this two profiles i.e. Household. But after some time profiles A & B got merged into one, and then the issue occurred that two relationships are showing from UI.

Any solution for this?

We have followed up with the Reltio team for the same, and they have responded below:-

"We could see that the startObject and endObject are related to the same entity and the relationship after the merge is still valid since the relation's start and end objects are of the same entity type. One row is for start object direction label and second row is for end object direction label. 
 
Before the new UI, Reltio used to display only one row under the relationships tab, however in the new UI we started displaying two rows and it is working as expected and designed. "

So it's not an issue, its due to the nature of this being a self-referential relationship where the start and end objects are associated with the same entity.
