Policy admin systems can contain well over 200 of copies of a customer's information, usually associated to each policy. When loaded to Reltio, each contributing copy becomes a "crosswalk" and is merged into a golden record until the technical limit of 200 crosswalks is met, at which time another golden record is created and so forth until all records are loaded. The result is that there are multiple "golden records" for the customer.
Example:
Our customer, "ABCD Bank USA" has 401 policies.
In the policy admin system where we get customer data from, ABCD Bank USA has a profile associated to each policy, resulting in 401 copies of their information (name, address, EIN, etc).
When arriving in Reltio, the records merge, but exceed the 200 crosswalks limit, resulting in multiple golden records for the customer:
Golden record 1 w/200 crosswalks
Golden record 2 w/200 crosswalks
Golden record 3 with 1 crosswalk
I am curious how other Reltio Customers are handling this kind of scenario.
