In a product master Reltio migration project, we have informatica cleanse functions that is doing sort of data translation in the legacy system.

This is NOT a standardized data conversion like we do for Address or Postal code, it's basically converting one source value to another based on some logic coded inside the cleanse functions, few sample data given below.

    Source Value

    Output Value

    SOURCE_SYSTEM1^

    ACTV

    SOURCE_SYSTEM1^INACTV

    INACTV

    SOURCE_SYSTEM2^XX_PENZ

    XX_PENZ_AL

    SOURCE_SYSTEM3^SPC_BIOLUP

    SPP

Please advise if this kind of manipulation logic should be rightly scoped inside Reltio MDM or it should be kept outside of Reltio.

    Hi Mainuddin,

I would recommend keeping the cleansing logic outside Reltio, and since this logic is source-specific you can easily embed it in your ETL process.

The alternative is to implement S3 file cleanser in Reltio for this.
