  • 1.  Issue in Activities table - Data Sharing through Databricks

    Posted 03-30-2026 07:14

    Hi Team,

    1. ActivityLog is enabled in the dataPipelineConfig. I tried triggering events such as Entity_Created and Entity_Changed, but no entries are appearing in the activities tables in databricks.

    2. After each event, the entities tables are updated instantly. However, it takes nearly 30 minutes for the data to appear in other tables (for example, entity_individual and relations). Is this expected?

    Hello Swetha,

Please refer to this documentation which will help address both of your questions. I am providing some details here as well

    1. Please check on the flag "activityLogEnabled" and refer to best practices outlined in the documentation I shared
    2. Yes, entity_individual and related datasets are materialized views which are refreshed at an internal of 1 hour at present. Therefore, you might see the data landing appearing in these views in the time period ranging from few minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes in the steady data state flow. We are working on improving this experience where these data sets will also have the same latency as the entities or the related tables
