We have a requirement where an reference attribute on the Organization entity needs to be dynamically calculated and updated whenever there is a change in hierarchy relationships - specifically changes to relationship types like D&BHierarchy or some custom hierarachy.

Could you please confirm:

 

Which Lifecycle Action (LCA) hook is best suited for triggering such logic?

Should the LCA be configured under the entity type (Organization) or under the relationship types ?

Our goal is to ensure the attribute reflects the correct hierarchy whenever such relationships are created, updated, or deleted.

Please try using the afterSave hook on relationType and mainpulate the startObject or endObject entity in the LCA logic based on your use case
