Hi Team,

We are facing an issue with DCR workflow initiation in Reltio.

When triggering a DCR through our MCP integration (using Claude), the system successfully creates a DCR ID. However, the workflow is not getting initiated on the Reltio side, and the request does not appear in the workflow inbox for review/approval.

We have provided all the required permissions to the account used by MCP.

What configuration on the Reltio side ensures that a DCR automatically triggers a workflow on Reltio from MCP?

Are there any specific workflow or entity-level configurations required for DCRs triggered via API/MCP?

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can suggest what configurations should be verified?

Initial Prompth - create a DCR for the customer nicole maerie for middle name change to smith

Next step - approval: The DCR is now in AWAITING_REVIEW state. Since TestAPIScript lacks the workflow_manager role, please log in to the Reltio UI as atharva.ruikar1 and approve changeRequests/21MtO3u from the task queue. Once approved, the MiddleName will be updated to Smith on the record.

The DCR id is created but the inbox is still not having the task. The Role workflow manager is provided to the client - TestAPIScript. 

It has also tried to trigger the process instance tool but still the WF is not triggered in UI.

Hi Atharva,

I suspect only the change request is generated, but the process instance is not initialized. If you can share the exact MCP tool names that you are using, I can investigate further. The screenshots from Claude doesn't clearly pinpoint where the issue is!
