Hi @Nidheesh R -
Did you try it out?
I can see that if you use the Relations facet in the Authoring mode, you can select from among existing entities as well as create a new entity while still in the same Authoring workflow. Please note this is not the standard OOTB DCR workflow but another OOTB workflow called Authoring which is triggered when the data steward clicks 'Suggest' post filling out details about the entity (+relation) through the stepper experience.

Or in other words @Karthik Thomas, we have to enable DCR for creating Entity Type profiles and Relationship profiles in the same DCR.

Sure @Karthik Thomas. Let me try doing this.
EDIT: Based on the recommendation you have provided,
design your authoring stepper for Drug entity type to include a relationship facet with Composition entity type, provided the Composition entity is already persisted separately in order to choose from a list of compositions when authoring the Drug entity. This restricts the exercise to a single Authoring DCR, instead of two as described in the steps above.
this deviates from our main ask of creating new Composition entity when initiating a DCR. Our main ask was to have the flexibility of creating a new profile for Drugs and Composition together, Karthik.

Hi @Nidheesh R -
It is an interesting use-case. Have you already explored the 'Collaborative Profile Creation' UI feature to help you with this ask?
Link: https://docs.reltio.com/en/explore/get-your-bearings-in-reltio/get-your-bearings-in-reltio-multidomain-master-data-management/hub/profiles/collaborative-profile-creation
The way I think it could work for you is as below:
1. Enable Authoring for both Drugs and Composition entity type, using Data Modeler.
2. Setup any necessary attributes, stepper screens etc. to display as per business requirement.
3. The authorized user can create a Drugs profile for 'Metformin' with the necessary attributes and click 'Suggest' (temporary Save, in your case). This will create an Authoring workflow task for the Reviewer to Approve/Reject.
4. The same user can create a Composition profile as well and click 'Suggest' which will create another Authoring workflow task for the reviewer.
5. Do note that the 'Suggest' button on Authoring UI is tied to an OOTB Authoring workflow. This is a default one-step approval workflow already available in Workflow modeler process definitions.
6. Based on the above, the reviewer can approve them separately and later link them.
It is also possible to design your authoring stepper for Drug entity type to include a relationship facet with Composition entity type, provided the Composition entity is already persisted separately in order to choose from a list of compositions when authoring the Drug entity. This restricts the exercise to a single Authoring DCR, instead of two as described in the steps above.
Play around this feature and let us know if it still doesn't suit your business needs.
