Hi Experts ,

We have two entities Customer and Address . In both entities we have some validation functions of  error/warning type.

Now the Address can be created from Customer profile through reference attribute . So once at the time of Address to be created from Customer profile , will the validation functions for Address will be triggered  in Customer profile page and the warning/error message for Address entity can be seen in Customer creation page ?

If not ,then can you please let me know how to configure in such a way that the validation functions will be triggered for Address from Customer profile  page and the corresponding messages can be seen from Customer Profile page itself ?

DVFs are not supported for reference attributes yet. I will suggest you to vote for the idea to support DVF for reference attributes.

Without the support, I guess the only options are to use LCA / RIH
