We don't want to use Java for building custom cleansing function, does any one have similar situation or aware of process for have a name cleanser functions for the names like below.

Names: 

Sue-Ann O'Leary, 

Anna-Lee O'Connell,

Sue-Ann O'Keefe

When you say cleansing function, can you please elaborate?  Exactly what cleansing are you looking to have done to those names?  i.e. are those names inputs or outputs of the cleanser?

I was looking for a name cleansing function. Those are the Inputs which we are receiving and should process like same.

example: 

we should accept the names which looks like Sue-Ann O'Leary, name cleansing should be applied to SuE-AnA o'leARY to look like Sue-Ann O'Leary
