Lets say I have configured a new attribute in Reltio and want this attribute to be updated with values for all the existing records. How to do that? Can we do it via recipe, and it will be a bulk update.

Yes, it can be performed via recipe and it depends on what data should be extracted and loaded into the profile.

You can get started with RIH and design the recipes to suit your requirement.

You can also do this via the Reltio UI from the advanced search screen.  Click on the three dot menu and select 'Bulk Update'. This will work best if all the values are the same.  However, you can use the search features to find 'just' the data that needs the value and update the data that way.
