Hi Team ,

We are running external match job but does not get desired results .

Can you please help us with below questions :- 

• We have changed match rules , do  we need to run rebuild and reindex is it is only for external match job ?
• Right now match strategy is INCREMENTAL_V2 , will external match job will work fine with this ?

Please confirm us with any other important pints we need to know to get a good result for external match job.

According to the documentation, you'll almost certainly need to rebuild the match tables since you've changed your rules. I don't think that reindexing is strictly necessary.

Based on my reading of the documentation on tenant-level match strategy,  I think you might need to set your matching strategy to ON_REQUEST for external matching to work. I'd recommend rebuilding your match table first and only changing your match strategy if you're still not getting the results you expect.
