The new survivorship UI, it will not change anything on … No, it will not change the survivorship strategy itself. This is a read-only view. Let me go back to the other profile. Yes, any changes that you do will only happen for this profile or the attributes here. It will not affect the survivorship strategy. This was key feedback from majority of our customers that they don't want users to change survivorship strategy for the entire entity type. We are not allowing that anymore. You cannot change the source system or the rule type in here. It's completely read-only and can only be set up by administrators.
If you're changing something on the attribute level or ignoring or pinning an attribute, it only happens for this profile, but you cannot actually change a survivorship strategy. In the old UI, you can change this from frequency to aggregation and that will affect all the entity types, but then with the new UI, we are stopping that.
We are also building a self-service UI within console data modeler that will allow you to build survivorship strategies. As with any other capability in data modeler, it will be only available to administrators and configurators, not to end users. With 22.3, you will not have to go to L3 or JSON config to build survivorship strategies, fallback strategies. Everything will be available on the UI within our data modeler application.
