    What is the process of winning a Entity ID from a particular record when 2 or more records merges together?
    How to control which Entity ID should survive during a merge process?

    Hi Abhik,

    Let's have scenario based:
    1. From UI if we perform a merge, the base profile or the profile which you are comparing and merging becomes the winner.
    2. Automatic merges are random and are not configurable.
    3. API, We can explicitly define the winner while using an API based merge.
    Merge API
    Explicit winner can be set to the entity URI

    Hi Abhik,

    I strongly believe that the oldest entity id in the system will become a merge winner. We have seen this behavior in our tenant.

    The oldest entity will be the one that survives during a merge process.
