Hello Reltio Community,
We have a requirement to implement a two‑level Authoring (Data Change Request) approval workflow in Reltio and would appreciate guidance on the recommended approach and best practices.
Business Requirement
We need a wizard-based authoring workflow with two reviewers:
Reviewer 1 (Initial Review)
- Receives a task in the Reltio Notification Inbox
- Opens the Authoring / DCR workflow
- Works through the first step of the wizard
- Can:
- Update profile fields (authoring in Suggesting mode)
- Reassign the task to another user
- Approve or Reject the request
- Comments are often required when approving or rejecting
Reviewer 2 (Final Approval)
- Receives the next step in the workflow after Reviewer 1 approval
- Reviews the proposed profile changes
- On Approve, the profile must be saved to the database
- On Reject, the change request should be rejected
Final Expected Outcome
- After Reviewer 2 approval:
- The Data Change Request is applied
- The profile is saved in the database
- The updated profile becomes visible in the Profile view
If anyone has implemented a similar multi‑step authoring approval workflow, sample BPMN patterns or best practice recommendations would be very helpful.
