In Reltio a particular entity A has a child B of the same entity type as A. Entity A has an attribute 'Name' that has the value "Jane". Is it possible in Reltio for the entity B to inherit the same value "Jane" for its 'Name' attribute since A has a relationship with B (parent-child relationship) ?

Any suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Not possible with OOB. Please use  LCA  if  you need this attribute as part of Entity Create if not use  ASync update based on the event ex  through RIH

can you give some insight into the real use case?  Obviously, no one is going to copy a first name.  It doesn't make sense.  Typically, these requirements using come from product types in PIM use cases, but I'd like to hear what yours is.

You can use a reference attribute to "inherit" from a parent and if required you can then use a cleanser to copy the value to another attribute.
