  • 1.  OOTB Attribute Name Change in Hierarchy

    Posted 25 days ago

    Hi Team

I just wanted to know is there any way by which we can change the OOTB attribute name for a Hierarchy. Please refer to below example for my scenario:
In the Screenshot attached I want to change the "Effective Date" attribute name in Hierarchy Facet to some other attribute , please let me know how can I do this.
    Thanks
    Priyam

    Hi Priyam,

Can you tell me more about what you are trying to do?  The 'effective date' is the date that is used to measure against the start/end date of the underlying data so the hierarchy is rendered effective that date.  Are you trying to make the measurement against a different date (i.e. created date, etc)?  if so, I don't think that is possible.  Are you trying to change the label displayed in the UI?  Something else?

    Hi @Gino Fortunato

    Good morning

Yes I am trying to change the Label name from " Effective Date" to " Start Date" as we are having this requirement from client. Can you please tell whether this is possible or not.

    Thanks

i don't think that is possible, but you may want to confirm via a support ticket.  It may be possible to do this with the localization API.

unless you are doing something different, Start Date might not be such a good description for hierarchies.  The end dates before the effective date have an effect on the result
