  • 1.  Restrict potential matches for a particular role

    Hi All,

    We have a requirement , where we need to restrict Potential matches for a particular Role. we have disabled Potential Match facet , but potential matches are showing in Profile View . Please let me know, if you have any idea how to implement this.

    Unfortunately, that is the only link.....

    the format is:

    "canRead" : { "roles": ["role1", "role2"]}

    with canCreate, canUpdate, and canDelete also available.

    yes, we already updated canRead in UI modeler . But user is able to see Match rules filter in Search screen and also if user can open potential match facet (with Potential match url). Can we restrict that ?

    yes, you can use this property to hide the facet.

    But I don't think anything can be done about the search.

    Hi Chenchu,

    As per my understanding, you are trying to filter records based on region(as example), you can actually restrict the user roles so that the potential matches or records won't be displayed for other regions.
    We cannot restrict Potential Matches on search or on profile view based on role based on my knowledge.

    Also, you can create Saved Searches and ask users to work on specific Match Criteria by sharing the Saved Search with them based on Region etc.

    Let us know the actual requirements.

    Hi ,
    Thank you for responding. We have to hide potential matches for a particular role. So , we have updated in the UI modeler ,now it is not showing (as expected).  But, same user can see match rules and count in the search screen and also, they can see potential matches directly with URL. How to handle this,could you please let me know ?
