I have encountered a scenario where Stewardship want to update RDM lookup type description. This update reflect perfectly in MDM data tenant profile automatically in real time. However, profile update in data tenant do not appear in activity log i.e. profile load date/update date is not become latest. Hence this update do not automatically propagate to downstream consuming system for any incremental based data integration pattern. 

 Lets take example of

• Stewardship update Specialty description (from Psychiatry  to Psychiatrists) against code (PSY) in RDM.
• HCP profile with specialty (PSY) is now displaying updated description of  Psychiatrists.
• HCP profile's load date/update date is not become recent
• Profile update is not processing to consuming system for any integration pattern of sync connector, API based integration (unless we have full refresh update flow to downstream)

If anyone has implemented clean solution for this scenario OR if you have something in mind for this, please suggest approach.

Hi Ravi,

As you can see, this is the expected behavior. Since there is no update to the profile, no downstream integration occurs. To enable downstream integration, please export the profiles based on the RDM values and proceed with the integration.

Alternatively, you could perform a fake update on the profiles, which would allow integration through real-time processing. However, please be mindful of the number of profiles being affected.
