Hi Gino, thanks for your remark.
My idea is to have different score values depending on how much 2 strings fuzzy match together.
I don't want only to know if 2 strings fuzzy match together (true or false) and assign a fixed weight to them.
I want to have a variable score value depending on how much the strings are similar, as there are several "flavours" of fuzzy matching.
I am not sure to express the requirement clearly enough, maybe
@Chris Detzel can help me as we have discussed together about this idea during the Relevance Based Matching Community shof of January 20th.

Hi Manuel,
Would you please expand on the idea? Depending on the comparator used, the two strings will give different matching scores. This can be seen https://docs.reltio.com/matchmerge/relevancematching.html#relevancematching__scorecalc. So I think you are trying to say something else, but I am missing it.

Hi all,
if you are interested you can vote the following idea (MDM-I-1066):
https://reltio.ideas.aha.io/ideas/MDM-I-1066
In Relevance based matching rule it should be able to have a matching score dependent on how 2 strings fuzzy match between them.
Example : "Charles" and "Carles" may have a matching score of 80 whereas
"Charles" and "Briles" may have a matching score of 20
Thanks and have a great week end!
