Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a way to restrict certain entities to participate in matching if a key attribute is null, entities can participate in matching if that key attribute is same or different only. Initial thought is to add a flag via integration for such records but wondering if this can be achieved via match rules.

Hi Ashish,

Reltio platform does not skip any records during the matching process if match rules are configured for the entity type. Instead of skipping the record, you can configure the match rule so that the records that you want to skip do not match with any other record. Match tokenization is one way to achieve this. Match rules can be configured to ensure the records that you want to skip do not share tokens with any other records.

Yes Suchen, We were able to configure the match rules in a way that records missing the key attribute doesn't match with the ones has it but only with the ones missing it as well.
