  • 1.  Configuring Surrogate Crosswalks

    Hi Everyone,

    We are planning to configure a new source system for our tenant but unfortunately the source doesn't provide unique key or Primary key as such for HCO or HCP . For HCP & HCO all other existing sources do provide unique keys which we use as crosswalk key .So we are planning to configure surrogate crosswalks for HCO/HCP using the combination of below attributes let's say :
    HCP : FirstName,LastName,MiddleName,PhoneNumber,Email
    HCO : Name,AddressLine1,AddressLine2,PostalCode,StateProvince 

    Now my question is If we plan to configure surrogate crosswalks for the aforementioned entityTypes for this new source, do we need to run recalculate surrogate crosswalk job for all entityTypes or just for Location . Also, I suppose we need to run this job after posting the new metadata configuration .

    Hi Manish,

    If I understood it correctly you are configuring a new source, so in my mind there is no need of recalculate surrogate crosswalk job as you would be posting new source data for the first time.
