  • 1.  Default date value for an attribute

    Hi folks,

    Is there a way to have a default value for a particular field of 'date' datatype?

    Some source data values are not in the correct format, due to which Reltio inserts "01/01/1970".
    I could've used Data Validation Function (DVF) and discard the bad data coming from source, but there is no regex available for date fields.

    Please advise.

    Hi Paras,

    We do have a default value feature for attributes, but is only populated if no data is sent, it doesn't qualify the format of the data.

    I think you are on the right track looking the the data validation functions. I believe regex is available for data fields. Look for "Regular Expression Match" in the drop down
