Hi, I would like to understand if METADATA security works based on conditional formatting.

Scenario:

I have a simple attribute field name called CustomerType which is defined as a LOV value and they are Customer, Phone only. If this Customer Type is populated as Phone only, I need to restrict the visibility of the Address attribute where the address is defined as Nested Attribute.

Will this behaviour be applicable for few selected user roles?
As per my understanding - the platform does not have this as out-of-the-box feature right now but we take this as an idea/feedback/suggestion and will try to incorporate into  a feature team is currently working on.

Hi Abhradeep, This is applicable for all the user roles when the type is populated as "Phone Only".

Thanks for the clarification. There is no out-of-the-box feature to support this one right now. We take this as a feedback/suggestion and will put it in our plan to include in some future functionalities that our development team is working on.
