NPI DT is part of Reltio data-as-a-service offering. Reltio manages the NPI-Data Tenant and keeps it updated with the most recent data from NPPES.
Any tenant (referred as customer tenant) can subscribe to one or more data tenants using Reltio DTSS service, which will enable customer tenant to setup how they want to consume data from data tenants.
Subscriber have control on how they want data to flow from data tenant to the customer tenant using DTSS configuration, which allows them to setup mapping and rules for consuming data and different CRUD events from data tenant.
At core of this is match rules, which will help with search and match from data tenant, and allows users to setup auto, manual or mix of these two schemes for subscription from data tenant. You can refer the documentation portal for more details on NPI match rules here -
