  • 1.  Metadata restrictions based on reference attribute

    Hi experts,

I'm updating my existing metadata configuration where I need to implement a below logic.

    ASSUMPTIONS:

    1. 2 entity types and B. Where B has an attribute called deciderAttribute.
    2. I have a specific role called ROLE_RDM_1_DATASTEWARD.
    3. Someone else has another role called ROLE_RDM_2_DATASTEWARD.

Now, I'm creating an entity for an A having a reference attribute B. And, for my role of ROLE_RDM_1_DATASTEWARD, I need to show only values of B having "type1" as the value for deciderAttribute. For someone else having the role of ROLE_RDM_2_DATASTEWARD, I need to show only values of B having "type2" as the value for deciderAttribute.

Is this achievable in Reltio? How can this be done? Haven't found luck in trying options of using reference attribute in Metadata permission.

    Alternatives are also highly appreciated.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I've been checking with our engineering team and this should work. Please share your metadata security configuration and we can review it. Probably better via a support case.

    Thanks

Thanks for responding @Sergio Abraham. No issues. We figured this out. We used the attributes inside the reference attribute to bring-in this functionality.
