can you please explain how RDM does not give you this functionality? This sounds like a dependent lookup.

Hello Ramalingam
Use case is for Reference data where a given Code is applicable to a given set and another code is applicable to another set. e.g. Code A, B, C are valid for State (AK, AL, AZ) and D,E,F are valid for states (MA, MD, DE). In MDM, I can extend the Codes and add Tags as list of states where this code is valid.
However RDM does not give us this functionality. What is a method that someone has used, which can be used to fulfill this requirement?
Thanks

Hello Gina
Thanks for response:
Q: IN RDM, there is no Tagging facility, like there is in MDM. So for a given attribute, if we need to add a Tag like feature, Do we need to add a custom attribute?
Thank You

Hi Anil,
Can you expand on what you mean by tagging? i.e. sample values maybe? Would this be for every attribute?

Hello
We have a requirement where we need to add tags to a field during ingestion period. Has anyone done this and are there any lessons learnt from this exercise ?
Thank you in advance for sharing any knowledge/experience.
Sincerely
