    Hello Team,

Wondering if there is a way to disable a match rule or all match rule for an entity type without removing them from configuration.

Yes, in the match rules editor; under Scope, uncheck both boxes.

Yes it will update match rule scope as "NONE". Can be done directly via configuration.

As Ashish points out, it is important to note that this change to the match rule scope is persisted in the L3.  It will therefore be necessary to manage and propagate this through your software development lifecycle to promote this sort of change from Dev->Test->Prod.   Making the change directly in Prod through the console could theoretically be done, but it would be overwritten the next time L3 changes were pushed from Test, so it is always better to manage configuration changes through your usual lifecycle.

There are tenant level metadata changes which can be used to temporarily disable the match queue processing.  This is typically only done for large data loads, where it might be acceptable to disable the queue, bulk-load the data, and then re-enable the queue to catch up.  Changes at this level should engage a professional services consultant with experience in this area to ensure you don't lose events.
