Hi Karthik,
This is what we did when we had real time integration between our CRM (Salesforce based application Veeva) and Reltio. Its not SSO or Active Directory account for all practical reasons.
1. Setup non-SSO profile in CRM (Clone System Admin profile if needed to and not make it SSO)
2. Setup service account in CRM (Something like Reltio.Sync@<your company domain>.com.<CRM Sandbox Extention>. for example
Reltio.Sync@pwc.com.sandbox3. Setup up the same service account in Reltio with privilege's (Role API, Role Data Stewards, Role Data Tenant Admin etc. These are just some examples)
4. Ensure the service account setup in Reltio is non-SSO (Uncheck SSO option)
5. You may have to work with your Infrastructure/Network team to ensure the required ports/IP's are open for the connectivity between Reltio and CRM works
6. Test the connectivity. If something is not working then it could be related to firewalls between your CRM Org and Reltio instance. Involve concerned teams from both ends to resolve
This was done many years ago so things may have changed both from Reltio and Salesforce perspective. The best is to have a call with Reltio Support. Hopefully other community members can shed some light on this topic.
Note: We no longer using the real time sync between Reltio and our CRM system due to various reasons. Its all done via batch process using Informatica Cloud as ETL between Reltio and CRM (Redshift as backend tables).

Bhaskar
